PROGRESS CAROLINA OBTAINS C/O ON LARGEST AFFORDABLE SENIOR HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IN COMPANY’S HISTORY

Progress Carolina, a premier general contractor in Myrtle Beach and Aynor, S.C., is proud to announce that it has obtained the certificate of occupancy (C/O) for its latest project, Guardian Angel Villa, making it the largest affordable senior housing development in Progress Carolina’s project history.

The affordable senior housing development is located in Charlotte, N.C. Project partners include Douglas Development and Schaumber Development, as well as the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte.

The multi-family senior housing project site boasts 4.4 acres with a 101,583-square-foot building. The single residential building is three stories tall with conditioned corridors for its residents’ comfort. Residents in the 81-unit building will enjoy living in either one bedroom/one bathroom or two bedroom/two bathroom options. Community amenities include a fully custom designed in-house chapel with stained glass windows, a resident clubhouse, safe access to outdoor spaces, including a gazebo, a community garden and a walking path.
