BRETT CALLAGHAN

Director, Business Development

Brett Callaghan is the Director of Business Development for Progress Carolina, with more than 30 years of experience working in various capacities of both land development and building construction. He has the admirable capability of figuring out how to accomplish almost any task at hand. Paired with his mindset of never giving up because there is always a solution, our clients know that Brett is a force to be reckoned with when guiding projects to successful completion.

Brett joined Progress in 2008 and is responsible for mentoring field managers who supervise multi-family communities under construction. He directs all of our land development and site infrastructure processes from preconstruction through landscaping. His big-picture thinking is a significant asset in this role.

Brett served with the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant. His honors included the Strategic Air Command Airman of the Year, 1985. His duties included training and evaluating personnel associated with the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

Prior to joining Progress, he held the positions of senior construction manager with Toll Brothers and project manager with Griffon Associates, where he earned the honor of being named Employee of the Year for two consecutive years. He received an Associate degree in Aircraft Structural Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force.

When he’s not working hard to deliver exceptional communities for our clients, Brett is committed to working out and staying fit. He likes to be outside and enjoys hunting and fishing, and is intrigued by the immense challenge that either hiking the Appalachian Trail or climbing Mount Rainier presents. He has two daughters and a son who bring him great pride and happiness and is an all-around great dad, coworker, and community member.
