PROGRESS CAROLINA LAUNCHES STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM
This Thanksgiving season, we at Progress Carolina are especially thankful for our team’s continued health and wellness. Thanks to our cherished partners and hard-working team, we are confident in our future and are so grateful to continue growing stronger together each day.
When thinking of the many things we’re fortunate to have, we cannot ignore those who don’t have the things we so often take for granted. With that in mind, we are honored to announce the Progress Carolina Stewardship Program.
We initiated this program with an effort to combat hunger and homelessness for area students through National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. With over 10,800 homeless students in South Carolina, our leadership team agreed our focused efforts this season would first be on local youth programs.
This month, we participated in Reverse Friends Giving, a program with Hope House of Myrtle Beach, a nonprofit organization committed to providing a healthy environment for registered Myrtle Beach High School students who are designated homeless or otherwise burdened by circumstances beyond their control and who are actively completing their academic requirements to receive a high school diploma.
We’re excited to become more involved in our community, as well as those in which we build, and not only give back but pay it forward.
